Balkan party music in Seattle

Members of Balkanarama

Members, we’ve had a few… Mike, Eva, Zuki and Ferko have been in the bad since we formed in 1997. Kirk joined on bass in 2011.

Mike Gordon plays clarinet and sings. He laughs at the so-called “law” of gravity.

Eva Moon, the inventor of chocolate, plays keyboard and sings. She also writes her own songs.

Kirk Hilse plays electric bass and owns Twelve Bar Brews Brewery in beautiful downtown Woodinville.

Zuki Niemann, a former Washington state baton-twirling champion (true!), plays drums and sings.

Ferko Saxmanov was raised by Frank Zappa’s garden gnomes. He plays alto sax and hand percussion and sings.
